My Bio: Aiha Jasim
My Bio

My name is Aiha Jasim, and my journey has been shaped by a childhood spent in the foster care system. Yet, instead of allowing those experiences to define me, I've embarked on a mission to redefine the lives of children in need. Today, I proudly stand as a driving force behind the Ayah Foundation, a venture I co-founded with my father to extend a helping hand to those who have found themselves without a stable home.

Our foundation is not just about finding a place to live for these children; it's about restoring hope and building families. The Ayah Foundation operates on a multifaceted approach, addressing the diverse needs of our community. We extend support to families facing financial hardships, offering assistance with essentials like money, food, and clothing.

Being bilingual in both English and Arabic has proven to be a valuable asset, enabling me to bridge communication gaps and ensure that everyone, regardless of language barriers, can access the support they need. As my father's dedicated secretary, I play a crucial role in translating and facilitating connections with those who may not speak English.

My passion for working with children goes beyond the confines of our foundation. I have personally experienced the foster care system and actively participated in classes to understand the intricacies of the process. This hands-on experience has equipped me with the knowledge and empathy needed to guide children through their temporary homes until they can reunite with their families.

I believe in being a source of comfort and support for those who need it most. Whether it's offering a shoulder to cry on or being a compassionate listening ear, I am committed to being there for every child and family we encounter. Together with my father, I am honored to contribute to the well-being of our community through the Ayah Foundation, where we strive to create a brighter, more stable future for those who need it most.
