I am Allison
As a student, I am thrilled to present my journey of transitioning from my role at Racine Library to embarking on a new career path as a paralegal through this portfolio assignment.

I reflect on my time at Racine Library, where I honed valuable skills such as research, organization, and effective communication. These foundational experiences have been instrumental in shaping my professional growth and preparedness for the next chapter in my career and becoming a just paralegal.

As a student transitioning to a career as a paralegal, setting personal and professional goals is essential for charting a path towards success in the legal field. My personal goals include enhancing time management skills to effectively balance work and study commitments, cultivating strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and maintaining a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 

On the professional front, My goals involve acquiring specialized legal knowledge and expertise through continued education and training, seeking opportunities to gain hands-on experience through internships and establishing a strong professional network within the legal community.
Additionally, setting goals to develop proficiency in legal research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as striving to uphold ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of legal practice.
