Athletics: Yasmine Seymon McCain
In High school was a cheerleader from freshman year to my junior year. I was also a soccer player from my freshmen year to my junior year. I could not participate in any athletic clubs or anything because I broke my right ankle my junior year was not allowed to take part in athletic activities.

Culturally I am knowledgeable about myself or my ethnicity. No has ever tried to explain any of that to me nor have I tried to even get to know myself. All I really know is what stories my parents and grandparents tell me about our culture and our family history. I also know what I have learned in history class in school and little research I have stumbled across myself. I would like to get to know that side of me.

I graduated High school in the year 2016. From there I went to attend the Eastern shore of community college where I graduated in 2020. I took a gap year to save money and just live life. Now I am getting my paralegal certification and will be walking that stage yet again on June 3, 2023.

Employment History: Yasmine Seymon McCain
My very first job was at Cherrystone Campground, I worked at the craft shop I was 14 years old. I soon got my second job two years later at our local dollar general. Not long I was working three jobs at a gas station/ rest stop Royal Farms. I left those jobs because I was still in high school, and I had injured myself and Cherrystone was a seasonal job, so I only worked from May-October. I have had various of jobs all because I like to learn new professions and because some jobs did not pay as good as others. When I started college worked at a restaurant/gas station called Sting Reys I was there for 7 years until, I got this job where I am at now.

I have received grants while I have been in college. I have received Pell grants and grants from the commonwealth of Virginia. 

Interests: Yasmine Seymon McCain
My interests are a lot of things. I want to know more about any and everything. I am a very curious person when it comes to different topics. I am interested in art, how law works in other countries, music I love music. I also love animals and just trying the help them the best way I can. I like to donate whenever I have extra money or even when I do not and I am at the register and the clerk ask if I want to round up its always a yes for me.

Throughput high school I had people look to me for guidance. I was not only captain of the soccer team but during my senior year I was captain of the cheerleading team. When I was attending the Eastern Shore of Community College during my last two years I was president of the French Club.

My Bio: Yasmine Seymon McCain
My name is Yasmine McCain, I am the middle child out of three. I live with parents and my younger sister in Virginia. I am 25 years old and I also have two crazy orange tabby cats that I love dearly. I have two nephews and a niece and a boyfriend of 7 years. I am so excited to be getting this degree and starting my new journey. I am ready to leave my quiet little small town and get back into the city where I love and feel like I belong.

The skills that I possessed are knowing Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Teams, I can make documents into PDFs, I know how to use excel. I know how to file, copy, fax, email documents, leave voicemails, and assist customers. I have a great customer service skill and money handling.

Travel (My Travel Experience): Yasmine Seymon McCain
Since I was a little girl my grandmother (my father's mother), loved to travel. I have been to almost all of the 50 states from the time I was born to when I started school, we would just travel when my brother and I were on break. In 2017 I went to Montreal Quebec Canada for a week with the French Club it was the best experience of my life. The different culture and food and just everything was beautiful and amazing. I loved everything about the culture and the food. The people were so nice and friendly.

In August I am going to be going to London and Paris with a tour group called EF Ultimate tour group and I can not be any more excited than I already am.
