In this competition, teams of 2 raced to be the first team to complete not only making the chosen prescription, but also the calculations and labeling, first and accurately.

In this competition, teams of 2 tried to solve the problems of a complex patient case using the pharmacy databases. We were tasked with finding out what disease state the patient was in based off the symptoms, as well as how to modify their current medication regimen to treat that disease state.

During interviews for incoming prospective students, I act as a student ambassador for the school to answer questions they may have, from a student perspective. If the interview takes place on campus, I will give them a tour of the main buildings for the School of Pharmacy, and sometimes the model dorm room. I also have participated as a student ambassador during the Allied Health Open House at the school. The open house was largely the same as the interviews, answering questions they may have and giving a tour, but to a larger group of prospective students and their families.

We made professional resumes for our own professions and shared them with each other. The groups were made of nursing, medical, and pharmacy students talking about the requirements to be licensed in their respective profession, as well as different focuses and further educational opportunities for each profession.

In this simulation, we were in large groups playing different hospital departments, like ER, Surgery, and Supplies. There was a zombie outbreak and we had to work not only within our own department, but between other departments to manage the hospital and figure out how to care for people during this chaotic event.

We split into teams containing 2 pharmacy students, 1 nursing student, and one medical student. During this simulation game, we each picked a different department in the hospital and had to work together to move patients to the correct places and handle the random event cards that caused things like Step Down not being able to accept any patients form other departments for 2 rounds.
