After obtaining my degree my goal is to pursue a position in mortgage industry but using my degree to obtain the position in the Human Resources department. I want to utilize both my work and academic experiences to show a potential employer the skills that I have. My goal is also to continue to pursue working in the different fields of HR as well and learning all the roles of HR through work experiences. My personal goals are to become a homeowner in the next year and learned to manage my time. Both my career and personal goals are goals that seem so easy to obtain but I understand that is not the case at all they both required hard work, mental stability, and determination. I have the drive to pursue all my goals and I feel that just as it was a goal to returned to school to earn my degree, I can accomplish the goals I have set for myself both career and personal.
I have been working in the mortgage industry for 8 plus years, I started off in the customer service side of industry and worked my way up to being an operations analyst. I have been doing analyst work for 3 years now, and I'm the lead for my operations. I have knowledge on laws and regulations that no only apply to the mortgage industry but overall any workplace environment. I have chosen to follow my career path in Human Resources and use my knowledge earned in my academic experiences and degree to pursue the field of HR in the mortgage industry, utilizing what I learned in my academic journey and work experiences.
