What are admitting privileges? Admitting privilege is the right of a healthcare practitioner, by virtue of membership as a hospital's medical staff, to admit patients to a particular hospital or medical center for providing specific diagnostic or therapeutic services to such patient in that hospital. Each hospital maintains a list of health care providers who have admitting privileges in that hospital. Admitting privileges of some physicians may be limited to consultative services only.

Advanced Research Writing Portfolio Project Abstinence Recovery versus Harm Reduction Recovery Professor C. Blum
Introduction: Abstinence Recovery versus Harm reduction Recovery, this topic has been a controversial topic for years but based on the evidence and the overdose rate in the US, recovery treatment center has relied more on abstinence recovery. Why is abstinence recovery more successful than harm reduction? Why are treatment centers gearing more toward abstinence over harm reduction? There is a valid reason for this. It shows that abstinence recovery has more of a success rate, and he has a huge support network all over the world. Historically, addiction treatment has centered upon an abstinence-based model. This promoted that abstinence is essential to recover from addiction. One of the most popular forms of abstinence-only recovery treatments is Alcoholics and Narcotics anonymous. This is a step based on recovery programs they are self-help programs that say you are a member when you say you are. There are no dues to pay, and no promises to make to anyone. Multicultural Awareness Essay

I am currently a student at Bryant & Stratton, my degree program is BBA in General Management. I am in my final semester. I currently work in the Behavioral Health field. I am also an NYS-certified Peer Advocate and work as a Core Provider with an agency called Recovery Options Made Easy. My career goals are to eventually get promoted from a Core Provider to a management position. I would like to continue working with Recovery options made easy, but if I can't advance with the company, I plan to secure a career change and move on with another company. Before working in the Behavioral Health field, I was working in the Banking field with M&T Bank. My purpose for pursuing a degree was to attain a leadership role because I feel I have so much more to bring to the table. I have been working in the Behavioral Health field for almost ten years but in low-level positions. By furthering my education, and attaining newly acquired skills, I hope to advance in my career
