I, Christian Jackson, am a 26-year-old Louisiana Native. I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology from Southern University A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA. I am currently in my fourth professional year as a Pharmacy Student at the University of Findlay.
2.) I plan to observe at least one technician while they perform sterile compounding duties
2.) I plan to observe the pharmacist during at least 3 medical team rounds.
1.) I plan to observe over twenty diabetes & warfarin appointments.
2.) I would like to improve my patient counseling by counseling at least five patients on different side effects and contraindications with their current medication regimen.
1.) I plan to complete one hundred medication transfers with hopes to improve my communication skills.
2.) I plan to observe the pharmacists conduct at least one transition of care call (TOC) and one comprehensive medication review(CMR).
1.) I want to counsel at least 5 patients about their prescriptions.
2.) I want to administer atleast 10 vaccines to patients.
1.) I want to increase my self-confidence and work on my social skills that are appropriate and best fit for a professional environment
2.) I challenge myself to be able to find a job as an intern, in a pharmacy, so that I can learn real-life pharmacy situations year-round to further my experience until I graduate.

Description: Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a common virus that can cause respiratory infections in young children, leading to symptoms like coughing and difficulty breathing. In severe cases, RSV can result in hospitalization, especially in infants and toddlers. During my rotation at Ochsner Pediatric Hospital the number of RSV cases were exponential.
