This portfolio project is one of my favorites. I researched a topic, studied, and relayed information on two opposing views. This course assisted me in learning how to research, relay information in an unbiased manner, and communicate the important details to meet a certain accomplishment and come to a conclusion.

The portfolio project was an essay that explained all the criteria to proper clinical documentation. We learned policies and regulations regarding PHI and health records.

The portfolio project went over important contents of EHRs, how to properly acquire necessary information from documentation and record it.

The portfolio project included case scenarios we had to code and also establish medical necessity. This course had lectures simply based on medical necessity, how to meet, document, and report it.

The portfolio project focused on cases involving CPT and HCPCS, but it also included ICD-10. Extracting accurate codes through all the coding languages was learned and implemented in this course.
