My Bio: Tasnuva Shaborny
Pharmacy Practice Vision

All my life I’ve always told myself “everything is possible if you work for it” as it has always been my ability to overcome obstacles with dedication. This made me believe that as long as you put hard work and dedication into something, it can be achieved. Using this mindset I was able to choose a career in pharmacy as I wanted to learn more about medicine and chemistry. My passion for creating and helping others would be used in a career of pharmacy. A career in pharmacy would allow me to provide people with the service they need by being a pharmacist. I envision myself putting in the highest quality work. As a pharmacist, I can put my curiosity of medicine and chemistry to use. I am hardworking, passionate, and responsible which is all due to what I’ve always told myself, “everything is possible if you work for it”.

Other Accomplishments: Tasnuva Shaborny
AP Courses
One of my biggest accomplishments has been graduating high school with all 4 and above on all my AP classes. These classes include AP calculus, AP literature, and AP chemistry. I take these grades as big accomplishments because they were completed during quarantine. It was a major accomplishment because that was a dark time in my life and I fought all my obstacles to receive high grades for these tests.

Pharmacy First Year Reflection:

A pharmacist to me is someone who provides pharmaceutical care to others. This means they provide medicine to those who needs it. They help the people overcome sicknesses and diseases using the power if medicine. A pharmacist cares for the well being of others and will make sure you have the proper medicine you need to get better. They will prepare different types of medicine for the people. They study different drugs to make sure they are safe for you.
I chose pharmacy as my major for a few reasons. First off, medicine has always intrigued me. I have always wondered what goes on inside a medicine and what they are made out of. I would love to study the different medicines and how it is created. Also, I have always found pharmacists to be special. I remember one specific time when a pharmacist corrected a medicine that my doctor wrongfully gave to me.
I chose to study pharmacy here because St johns has one of the best pharmacy programs. I have had family members who have attended St. Johns and loved the networking they got to make here. I wanted to experience this myself as well.
