The Vietnamese-American Pharmacy Student Association is foremost committed to providing health services to the community in conjunction with promoting the pharmacy profession.
The purpose of KAPSA shall be to encourage professional and educational advancement among students and faculty, form a strong relationship between fellow students and faculty, provide networking opportunities within the field of pharmacy, promote the Korean culture throughout the community, and serve the school, profession, and community at large.

Advanced Pharmacy Practice Expeience in Acute Care/Medicine
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center – Colton, CA

- Work up 10 – 15 patients daily on ICU and COVID floor to assess and manage patients with COVID-19, bacteremia, sepsis, stroke, diabetic ketoacidosis and other complicated health conditions
- Facilitate IV to PO conversion for GI agents and antimicrobial therapy when appropriate based on patient’s health status, GI function, and laboratory values
