I absolutely love dancing and writing. Dancing has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Writing has always been more like my therapy. To me, it is a way of life.
My spoken languages are Spanish and English.
My accomplishments are really hard for me to define because what I consider the most important of all, may not be important to most. My biggest accomplishment personally has been the birth of my son. He has humbled me in a way, I never thought possible. Who could have known would fail so deeply in love with motherhood, before I became a mom. AJ is my greatest accomplishment and blessing.
My second accomplishment is being the best daughter, I can be. Being raised by a single mother, I had to witness all of her sacrifices. My mother is a retired construction worker of 26 years. Completed her last 16 years building Ground Zero to the beautiful memorial it is now. I couldn't be prouder to call her my mother. The pain my mother endured is raising two daughters alone if more than I could ever imagine. Now, many years later, I get to return that favor. I am my mother's full-time caregiver until further notice. Although it took me twenty years to return to college, and I may not be able to utilize my degree because of my personal responsibilities, I would not have it any other way. I love that I get to bond with my mother.
My third accomplishment is my husband. I can't put into words how much I love and adore this man. I have loved him since I was ten years old and although life would have it we would not emotionally find ourselves until 20 years later, I am glad to say, we still found each other.
My last accomplishment in college after returning to college after years, I have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA since May of 2020. I have built great relationships with my professors, who encouraged me to push harder when I may have doubted myself. I love my experience at Bryant & Stratton College. I wouldn't change my journey for anything.
