About Me
My name is Tiffany I'm married to my best friend. I have four children 2 boys and 2 girls. I have been working in the early childhood field now for over 15 years. Being the oldest child, I started taking care of my younger family members helping my grandma that's when I started having a love for wanting to work with young children. It takes a special person to want to work with young children and I believe that I have been that person now for many years. I'm patient, kind and loving and I share that with the children in my care they all hold a special place in my heart

Guiding Child Behavior
The course was designed to assist students in identifying challenging behaviors and using positive guidance strategies to support self-regulation in young children. I will be able to recognize challenging behaviors and find ways to use different techniques on ways to address it

When dealing with different behaviors in the classroom we use Conscious Discipline which has many ideas and ways to help a child who is dealing with different behaviors we have different breathing icons and visuals we show them to use when they are upset, we also have what we call keeping you safe rituals and we have an area called the peace place where they can go and calm down and look at a book and come back to the group when they are ready
