My future goals
My long-term goal is to become an elementary school teacher because I’ve always had a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow. Currently, I’m focused on completing my education while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in the classroom. Working as a 1:1 aide and in various childcare roles has given me insight into the different ways children learn, and it’s helped me build the patience and skills needed to be an effective teacher. I’ve also developed a strong interest in special education through my experiences with students who have autism, ADHD, and other unique needs. Because of this, I’m seriously considering pursuing a career in special education, where I can make an even bigger impact by helping every child reach their full potential.
