I grew up in Germany and then moved to Costa Rica with my family when I was ten years old. After living in Costa Rica for a little while, my family and I moved to America where we have resided ever since. Specifically, we moved to Colorado where I completed high school and college. I went to Colorado State University for my undergraduate degree and studied Human Development and Family Studies. I am now obtaining my doctorate degree in occupational therapy from Northern Arizona University.
I have loved occupational therapy ever since I was 15 years old. Before starting the OTD program, I volunteered with and shadowed in many different settings from young children to dementia care.
