I am a student ambassador for CPHS.

I am the Vice President for PSEB. I work with the president to plan meetings and try to create an organization where everyone has a voice and the student body is heard. 

I am planning on doing a rotation in May 2022 in the emergency department at Cape Fear Valley in Fayetteville. 

This was an independent pharmacy that I did a rotation in during May of 2021. 

I work at Betsy Johnson as a Certified Pharmacy Medication Technician. I am accumulating my clinical hours here. 

At the white coat ceremony, the Doctorate of Pharmacy class of 2024 walked accros the stage and each received their white coat. This was such an emotional day becasue it was a dream come true and the motivation I needed to remind me each day what I am working so hard for. 

I am a third-year pharmacy student at Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. 

For two years of undergrade work, I attended Campbell University.

My short-term goal is to work my hardest every day. I try my best to wake up with a positive attitude and an attitude to help others the best that I can. My long-term goal is to work in emergency medicine or psychiatric medicine. I am excited to journey through pharmacy school to see what my true calling is and to see why God sent me to Campbell University.

I was awarded the Deans Scholarship for my grades and involvement in undergraduate.

French, but I am not as good as I used to be with speaking this language. I took four years of French and went to Paris for a summer.

I am certified by the American Red Cross for basic life support. This includes knowing how to preform CPR, how to use an AED and how to relieve airway obstructions in patients of every age.

I am certified to be a pharmacy technician in the state of North Carolina. I currenty work at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC.

My name is Jessica Dorrough. I am a third-year pharmacy student at Campbell University. I came to Campbell from Lake Saint Louis, Missouri and I have been here for about four years. I went to Campbell University for my undergraduate schooling and stayed here to continue my education. I am hoping to work with forensic pharmacology, or a clinic helping substance abuse patients. I am very dedicated to school, and I cannot wait to see where the future will take me.

For this week the assignement was to find 4 new drugs in the pharmacy that you are not familair with and learn more information about them. This was a fun and helpful way to learn about the drugs to expand our knowledge.

I am very good with comupter systems and applucations like Word, Excell, Powerpoint, and OneNote.

I worked alongside my professor to organize a health fair for the Spanish community the Homestead in Raleigh. At this event, I had 14 volunteer student pharmacists and we performed blood pressure and blood glucose checks on the residents who lived here. We also had a few pharmacists there to help us counsel the patients on their home medications and help refer them to primary care physicians. 

With the fraternity, we do roadside clean-up, we collect books for the Reach Out and Read Program, and we tutor kids at local elementary schools.
