I am an active team member of the Bryant & Stratton College Women’s Soccer Team. I have been playing soccer since I was 8 years old and with that experience I have been able to win national championships several times in my country, Japan, and the U.S. I also have experience playing for Japan’s Youth National Team and National Team. My soccer experience has given me excellent exposure to various cultures and situations, additionally, different ways of thinking and working as a team. 

I have 6 years of experience playing in the Japan women's professional league and 4 years of playing in the US college league. I also have experience playing for Sky Blue FC (it is now Gotham FC) in the NWSL pre-season in 2019.

Economists and business leaders have a huge impact when it comes to humanity and development. I applied to learn how to create new strategies as well as trends in the economy.

BUSS213:Business Law and Ethics

I applied this knowledge to learn how to preserve discipline for all employees in a business setting and attempt to comprehend other people's perspectives and methods of operation. It also helped me to learn mastering ethical concerns are important for any organization's success, as it enhances the organization's performance.

BUSS450:Strategic Management

I applied this knowledge to learn how the company must determine how well its current expertise aligns with its strategy's requirements. It also helped me to learn how to use this research to decide what expertise it needs to acquire in order to be globally competitive.

BUSS320:Marketing Management

In business, people need to analyze and have some reasons why they provide the products or services for consumers in the market. They have to work ethically for their society. I applied this knowledge to learn how the relationship with society is very important in business. It helped me to learn knowledge of businesses that have responsibility for sustainable marketing and the companies that have been successfully contributing something to society.

PSYC310:Organizational Psychology

As part of a sports team, it is always important for me to use social skills and interact with my teammates. These very same traits and skills can transfer to the workplace as well. Classes like Organizational Psychology helped me a lot to learn more about human behavior and reactions of others as well as how to react to certain situations and scenarios. It is important to learn more about the background of why people act in a certain way in order to participate in social and professional communities just like the workplace.

BUSS380:Project Scheduling and Cost Management

In everyday work, it is important to organize everything to save time and always have a good overview of files and the like. My Project in Project Scheduling helped me a lot to work on my planning skills and to transfer the learned strategies to a real-life situation. It is important to consider every little detail discussed in class in order to finish the project successfully. Since I was the manager of the project it also proved leadership skills and the skill of making decisions.

BUSS320:Marketing Management

This project helped me to learn that I am not only able to use my thinking skills in the working world and to critically question things but also as part of a sports team it is important to use your thinking skills properly and learn strategies and implement them afterward.

PHIL310:Logic and Reasoning 

My project in Logic and Reasoning where we had to write about fallacies helped me a lot to learn more about human behavior. I think in general it is very important to transfer the knowledge from classes to the work-life and I realized that there are many situations where you can apply the knowledge in real-life situations.

BUSS325: Global Management Portfolio Project

I applied this knowledge to learn how to properly cite and integrate reliable sources into my work. It also helps one to learn the difference between reliable and unreliable sources and thus make the work scientific. My Final Project for Global Management helped me a lot to learn how to transfer research to my assignments. It helped me to learn where to find reliable sources in order to support my writing.
