My initial career began in 2010 while I was attending school. The only skills that I had were from my grade school calculating numbers, improving verbal and non-verbal communication so that I could be successful in my future endeavors. Attending grade school I had always enjoyed the Math courses because numbers just clicked for me. Understanding and providing a solution to problems whether it is with numbers or a person has become my goal and objective for my career. I noticed in my childhood years that I was trying to maintain organization and certain items I was always critiquing. Customer Service allows me to help customers beyond the transaction whether it is in person or over the phone. Young or older family members or school colleagues usually come to me about a problem that they would be having and asking for advice. My number one choice is being able to increase clientele with the company or organization that allows me this opportunity. Also, with all the knowledge that I have obtained, I am willing to accept any challenge that is brought forth to me. I enjoy learning and think of every day as a new beginning and that there is always something new to learn whether it is researching laws for accounting or staying up to date with your companies objectives and targets. Balance, stability, professionalism is always at the top of my list. I enjoy helping anyone that crosses my path in need of my assistance and will apply all my resources to find a resolution.
I resided in Pennsylvania, Oil City from March 2015 until March of 2017. I relocated back to New York, Jamestown in March of 2017 and I first moved to New York, Jamestown in 2005. I am currently buying a home on a land contract as a rent to own and moved into my current home in March 2020.
Some goals that pertain to my personal life vary between the short term and the long term. I like to sometimes set daily goals because making a list helps make sure things get completed in the proper time frame. One major goal long term is graduating Bryant & Stratton with my Bachelors Degree. A short term goal would be a continuous notation of 3 positive attributes to help stay positive. Another goal is to make a list of tasks that need to be completed or I would like to get done for that day leaving bigger tasks first and then the smaller ones. A long term goal is getting into a morning routine so that everyone is not rushing to get ready and be stressing about being late.
Compared to my personal goals there are more goals professionally short term and long term. One short term goal professionally is to improve my work, home, school balance. In addition, I would like to improve on communicating more in the workplace with other associates. Also, I would like to get more familiar with new products and software that is being produced so that I can succeed in my career. A long term goal is at my current workplace I would like to learn about the other energy companies and expand my knowledge so I can continue to move up in the company. I would also like to improve completing tasks in a timely manner and providing all necessary documentation to the correct departments at the end of my shift. Another long term goal professionally is becoming a business owner of a non-profit dance studio while obtaining my CPA degree and continue to read about the ever so changing laws and expand my knowledge in a variety of areas.
August 2019 I got a job at Genie Retail Energy and I am still currently working here.
In October 2018 I began as an employee with The Connection until May 2019.
My first job was with Kmart in September 2010 until October 2018. I had many different positions and learned the whole store by July 2012. I became the Cash office Assistant and Customer Service Representative from July 2012 until October 2018.
