I am a nontraditional college student taking a second chance at furthering my education. After years of growth, time for reflection, and lots of personal experience, I chose to try to continue my education in the medical field. I graduated from High School in 2003 and immediately went in to college mode. Regretfully, that did not work out for me in that stage of my life. However, I am now focused, dedicated, and determined more than ever before.
I love to learn new things and the medical field has always intrigued me. I've wanted a career in the medical field since I was a very young child. I am extremely blessed and fortunate to be given this opportunity. I prioritize quality work and because of that, I have accomplished a 4.0 GPA the entirety of my college education this time. I take my education seriously and I cannot wait to begin my career.
I am currently working as a Billing Coordinator for a small mental health practice based in Washington, DC. I love being able to help clients as well as the clinicians and I take a lot of pride in my work.
