Write Reflection Here:: On one hand, working with patients who require intravenous fluids or medications, IV infusion supply pharmacies' advantages become most apparent. For different types of pharmaceutical needs, such as retail prescriptions, OTC medications, and basic care, traditional pharmacies may be more convenient and easily accessible. In their professional work, pharmacists may run across moral confusing problems. These circumstances might elicit contemplation and force people to reevaluate their job objectives. Positive patient outcomes can be one thing that sometimes be difficult and complex. When a challenging medication-related problem is successfully resolved, a pharmacist's dedication to their profession and commitment to lifelong learning and development may be reinforced. Positive contacts with patients in other aspects can inspire people and pharmacy workers may be reminded during these times of the significant impact they have on people's lives. But pharmacy professionals may reevaluate their career aspirations as a result of ongoing job difficulties. It might inspire individuals to look into positions inside or outside of pharmacy that better suit their personal and professional well-being. Nevertheless, these experiences did reaffirmed my previous pharmacy goals because I believe that a strong feeling of purpose, ongoing learning, and personal development all play a significant role in these choices.

Write Reflection Here:: Time passed by very fast. My IPPE rotation has come to an end, but there was an event that provide me with a good learning experience as being exposed to new working environments. Shadowing a pharmacist working on IV infusion can be tedious if it was the first time that you get to how to prepare all kinds of the IV infusion supply. In most cases, these pharmacies stock a comprehensive selection of IV drugs and supplies, giving medical professionals access to a range of patient treatment options. This is very useful when managing complicated medical issues. For patients who need immediate or ongoing IV treatments, IV infusion supply pharmacies frequently place a high priority on the prompt availability and delivery of drugs and supplies. Actions that I plan to take based on what I learned from this experience I will look for other opportunities to learn different pharmacy's working process because all the pharmacies are different in term of providing patients with their pharmaceutical needs and it will set a big impact on my future practical career.

Write Reflection Here:: Two experiences that reaffirmed my previous goals as a pharmacist is patient-center care and interpersonal interaction which are the most common and focused aspect of the pharmacy career. They are focusing on raising the standard of living for vulnerable population especially the elderly and patients with chronic illness who need long-term care treatment. Blister packaging and other adherence aids are used to make sure that residents take their pills correctly and on time. Long-term care pharmacists as well as pharmacy technicians are specializing and focus on enhancing medication adherence. Even though we might come across this same type of healthcare goal in other settings including mail order pharmacy and retail pharmacy, in long term care pharmacy, pharmacists collaborate closely with medical professionals, nurses, and residents to customize drug regimens for each patient. The reflection on the role of the retail setting in the communities is the direct contact with the patients and the quick access to medication and healthcare products.

Comments:
Write Reflection Here:: I. It was my first time prepare blister packages for long-term care facilities. The process from start to finish might look simple and straightforward but it turns out that blister packing requires our a little bit more attention to detail in order to minimize medication errors. II. I felt that all the steps involved in the preparing process require our focus on different type of drugs itself and also the drug regime which can be varied for different patients based on their health condition and doctor prescription. III. In term of prescription process and workflow, long term care pharmacy seems to be more specialized in its fields compared to other pharmacy settings i.e. retail pharmacy. It plays a critical role in the well-being and health of the residents in the long-term facilities. IV. Long-term care pharmacy manage complex medication regime for elder people and patients with chronic disease. It provides patient-centered care and timely dispensing medication, which helps reducing chance of medication errors. V. Patient-centered care, interpersonal collaboration, attention to detail, drug safety, regulatory compliance and so forth are the important aspects that pharmacy students should learn and adhere to when it comes to the actual pharmacy practice in pharmacy career.
