My Bio: Lissette Torres
At 15yrs old my life changed drastically! Having birthed a baby girl  and not knowing what the future had in-stored for me. My mother also pregnant with my brother was admitted with a ruptured brain tumor after that my life has never been the same. My mother survived and my brother which was a miracle because the doctors said " she 's will never be the same"! My mother over came all her obstacles and lived another 39 years till recently she passed away from cancer .
Coming from a big a family I had 8 children and 11 grandchildren. My sister who should of been my support wasn't she said " I would never amount to nothing but make babies"! That stayed engraved in my brain and hurt myself esteem. I went through life not believing in myself until I said to myself " Enough is enough"! I started by going back to school in 2016 got my AA in Science then I took a break for one year and went back to school and enrolled in Bryant & Stratton online college program! Pushing through the grains I studied made it to the Deans List which  was the best award for me !  'I can do this " At this point in my life I feel like I can achieve so much more I just have to believe in myself !"
