1. Complete 2 projects during my Industry rotation in a 30 days period that meets expectations of my preceptor Roy Walton in August. This will make me a more competitive applicant for the future job/education search.
2. Present materials I have worked on with Dr. White during ACHP Mid Year event in December in Anaheim California. During the APPE school year I will work on creating a concise project to present on the already gathered information.
3. Make at least 10 meaningful connections during the entirety of P4 year to encoruage best practice and success in my future career.

Joe Dalo is a licensed pharmacy intern in Connecticut and New York, certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and immunization. He has gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry through his internships at Westchester Medical Center, Walgreens, and CVS Pharmacy. At Westchester Medical Center, he collaborated with a team of pharmacists to support clinical trials of new medications, applying his knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines to maintain adherence to FDA regulations and guidelines.
Joe Dalo has also gained research and publication experience at the University of Connecticut. He reviewed, analyzed, and interpreted data from over 50 reviews to assemble into a complete review article on "Mavacamten, a First-in-Class Cardiac Myosin Inhibitor for Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy." He also interpreted data from 17 smaller-sized studies. He concluded promising results for psychedelic drugs for anxiety and depression in cancer patients, resulting in the publication of "Psychedelics for Patients with Life-Threatening Cancer: A Comprehensive Review" by the Annals of Pharmacotherapy.
In addition to his professional experience, Joe has held leadership positions in the Pharmacy Debate Club, Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, and Pharmacy Student Government, serving as PSG Representative and Co-Founder, Vice President of Social Affairs, and Class Representative, respectively. He is also a member of the Industry Pharmacists Organization.
