I am a proud captain of the chess club who worked in setting up meeting times for my fellow club members to come together and bond over a game of chess. When needed I would teach and assistant in teaching openings and game ideas such as forks and checkmates.
A pharmacist in my own words is someone who actually wants to benefit the well being on someone through medication and their knowledge. They are still a healthcare professional and a very important one that specializes in medication. Someone who puts in more work than other people in order to achieve whats greater for the people and for the good of them. They are not people who slack off and just wanna have fun all the time but are professional and disciplined. They want to keep working and outwork everyone to become the best at what they do to help people.
I personally choose Pharmacy because at first I wanted to be a surgeon. But, as a Surgeon takes far too long to become and too much money I decided to take the middle course and choose Pharmacy. When I was young I have always had a liking to science and the medical field. It has always interested me and the other thing is that I would never want to work a job that I hate or do not enjoy doing. That would make me feel worse than spending 6 years benefitting myself and gaining knowledge for the well being of the people I will help god willing. Also, my half sister is a pharmacist along with some other family members in Egypt which is how I got the idea for Pharmacy. With pharmacy it is also just a straight 6 year program instead of having to transfer from school to school and spend more money than I need to.
I chose St. John's University because I did not want to go to a college too far away from where I lived. So after reviewing the best colleges for Pharmacy in my area I decided to submit my resume to LIU, Rutgers, and finally St. John's. I got waitlisted from Rutgers and the scholarship from St. John's was better than LIU sand I also saw that St. John's is also a better school than LIU so I decided to submit my deposit and attend St. John's University.
