My Bio: Hannah Tyler
My name is Hannah Tyler, and I am a P1 PharmD candidate in the Class of 2030. My career goal is to become a pharmacist who contributes to the fight against antibiotic resistance through research, antimicrobial stewardship, and community education. I hope to participate in pharmacy research focused on developing and improving treatments for antibiotic-resistant infections while also educating patients and my local community about appropriate antibiotic use. Through these efforts, I hope to help improve patient outcomes and promote the responsible use of antibiotics.

My goals for my first semester of IPPE experiences are:

1. Improve my patient counseling skills by successfully counseling at least 10 patients on their new prescriptions during my IPPE experience, with feedback from my preceptor when appropriate.

2. Improve my prescription-processing skills by completing at least 10 prescriptions from start to finish accurately, with minimal assistance when appropriate and following the procedures and safety requirements of the practice site.
