Learning about the “Erie

County Department of Health (ECDOH)” I was able to research a Clinic that has been serving as a central

public health resource for sexually transmitted infections (STI) prevention, testing, and

treatments. Then writer was able to create an action plan and give recommendations for managing information with technology in a healthcare setting as such. Another important aspect to the course is understanding the strong efforts to keep technology from being able to be shared wrongly and how this facility’s data can be compromised and ways of preventing a

Functions of managerial leadership are important. We as healthcare providers must learn to be accountable and learn that it is our social responsibility and us the strategic planning and study how the delivery of patient care can be an effective one. The assessment gave me responsibility for all aspects of its management such as: Staffing, planning, organizing, controlling, and leading all goals needing to have for successful outcome in healthcare.

This course allowed for discussion and interactive activities with academic engagement to help in my educational and future career journey.

Understanding the diverse society, we live in this course was beneficial to me and gave me an understanding of how imperative it is to know the effects of working with others in the health field can be. Having those open conversations with my peers allowed for a real insight into how we the people choose to interact with one another. The written material on confidentiality and mandated reporting

helped me to give an elaborate answer to many questions we face in the healthcare field. Using the soft skills that are also needed for quality care.

This course gives an inside look on how to prepare and have leadership skills to help guide me as a health care administrator, learning to plan safety and know the rules of regulations while having a strong structure unit is a key aspect that I took away. I was able to use the final project to apply contemporary knowledge to work problems that can happen in the health services environment. Creating strategic alliances and learning how effect a merger can be when developing community affiliations. I took away great skills to help with long rang planning and the ethical concepts of Management of Healthcare and knowing the Legal guides that follow. Future trends and challenges may arise in this type of setting, and I am more prepared due to having took this class.

This course allowed me to examine the behavior of individuals and groups within an organizational system. With the learning skills analyze the differences between management and leadership. The assessment provided helped me examine how leadership has a strong impact or lack within an organization. Being able to explore the various theories, characteristics, and competencies in leadership with the impact on professional relationships for my personal and future career as a leader and employee. Taking on that role as a Human resources staff member allowed me to apply the contemporary skill needed to have in a healthy setting.

 This course taught me more about the human behavior and how this impacts the various aspects of life itself. In the workplace I have a more clear of how diversity is needed to be learned how to navigate for an effective workspace for my career. Multicultural awareness and the sensitivity of today allowed for great decision that was had in this class. My portfolio project allowed me to learn from another culture through a person and it more for a positive and valued outlook that I have going forward for one’s background. Ensuring me to be professional in my community and others in life period.

Learning in this course that workplace may have graphs that need to be followed and understood. With this project and course being able to see the effects of excel and graphing to help ensure that patient care can be used to organize documents and analyzed needs for residents in real time with the methods that were presented in the document provided. Mathematical reasoning was learned through the knowledge to help me with decision making to see that I know how to come out with a better conclusion or outcome.

Completing a thorough analysis and recognizing its importance for my future career was done with this Portfolio project. It allowed me to be aware of and prepared for the changes in healthcare while caring for others with compassion, empathy, and love. All are essential in development of well-thought-out planning and open-minded leadership. Understanding financial ethical aspects and the effects of safety and securing for my patients as an Executive Director of a living facility who must teach staff and others what is needed to move in the right directions.

This assessment allowed me to be in position as an administrator of a hospital and learning to receive information as an analysis of the data of a financial statement, and balance sheet with the income statement to create a budget sheet in Excel. Using this skill (excel)I was able to learn how to keep track of my patients’ treatments and medications changes in homecare.

Going forward in my career, being able to transfer knowledge and learn that Excel can help me analyze similar aspects also manage inventory and med supplies, so I do not run out. When situations arise, I will be well prepared for managing both clinical and non-clinical records.

This project and course allowed me to create a persuasive essay and presentation power point on a controversial topic. This allowed me to reach the goal of addressing my audiences and making sure that the topic was appropriately commuted and my opinion came through clearly with methods of proposal and powerful sense of oral format to fellow. This assessment was with a visual guide (PowerPoint Presentation) and delivered a dynamic outlook for my peers to follow and understand.
