My Bio: Jessica Marston
A little bit about me.

Hello, I'm Jessica, known to my family and friends as Jessi. I'm a single mother to a wonderful little boy and am currently pursuing an associate's degree in human and social services, with plans to continue to a bachelor's degree. By day, I work full-time as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), having recently been promoted to a hybrid role where I divide my time between administrative duties and hands-on client care, helping individuals work toward independence in their own homes. I take pride in my strengths, which include structured planning, trauma-informed care, and inclusive communication. I'm driven by a deep commitment to reducing stigma around mental health and advancing equity in social services. I'm actively pursuing certifications to support marginalized communities better and create a stable, meaningful career that provides for my family. Fueled by love, compassion, and the belief that small actions spark big change, I'm developing an ePortfolio that reflects my dedication to lifelong learning and systemic reform in mental health.
