A 40-year-old male patient was brought to the Emergency Department (ED) via ambulance after he fell at home and hit his head on the edge of the bathtub. Patient isn’t sure how he fell but has a headache. He had a 3cm skin laceration on the left side of his scalp. The patient was given a dose of Tylenol and laceration was repaired with sutures and asked to follow up with his primary physician.
Diagnosis: Scalp laceration

What are patient assistance programs? Pharmaceutical manufacturers may sponsor patient assistance programs (PAPs) and provide financial assistance or free medications to low-income individuals. For my patients with limited financial resources, I have compiled a list of suggested PATIENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS which may help ease financial burdens.
