I am Lynesha Farmer, a P1 at the University Mississippi School of Pharmacy. I am a native of Batesville, MS. This May, I am obtaining my Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. I graduated from South Panola High School in 2018. Since a freshman in highschool, I knew that I wanted to do the pharmacy program at Ole Miss. I found out they had an early entry program, and I got accepted. I received my white coat in August 2021. I currently work as a pharmacy intern at Kroger Pharmacy. I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, since 2019. I currently serve on the local exec board for Student National Pharmacists Association (SNPhA), as well as other pharmacy organizations. I am interested in clinical pharmacy, specifically working in women's health. I love women empowerment and I think I would enjoy catering to my patients. In May 2025, I will receive my PharmD.

SMART GOALS
Professional SMART Goal:
I would like to make more connections with professionals that can help me have a successful career.
SMART Goal: I will try to get in at least two more ogranizations next semester and email/ meet with professors who work in my desired specification.
Financial Wellbeing SMART Goal:
I received my car for highschool graduation. It is not a brand new car, so the mileage was already high. Often, I have had car trouble. Therefore, I want to budget and save more money in order to purchase a new vehicle before moving to Jackson. I want a car that is more reliable, since I won’t be as close to home.
SMART Goal: I will invest in my credit more and double the money in my savings account by putting in at least $100 in per month, in order to get the vehicle that I want by August 2022.
