Jessica Crenshaw
Student Pharmacist
The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy
|
My name is Jessica Crenshaw and I am a current third-year pharmacy student enrolled at The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. I believe being committed to my educational studies is important in order to benefit my future patients. I believe that in order to achieve success, a person must demonstrate hard-work and dedication to their tasks.
In the past few years I have gained certifications and experiences that will prepare me for a future in pharmacy. These certifications include Basic Life Support, certification in protecting aganist bloodborne pathogens, intern license in the state of Mississippi and Missouri, and certification in Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery. My work experience includes working at Walmart Pharmacy as a technician for 3 years and an intern for 1 year.
Recently, I have become involved in research opportunities. These areas of research focus on studying why patients utilize home-delivery services that are offered by Tyson Drugs Pharmacy as well as exploring Naloxone availability within Mississippi.
In the future, I hope to practice pharmacy within the hospital setting. I have explored the idea of completing a residency after graduation as a way to further my education.
