My Life

I am a 33-year old newlywed wife, with a 10-year old daughter. I live in Alabama and is currentlly working at a Senior Living Community as a Housekeeping Aide. I am currently enrolled at Bryant & Stratton College and my major is Medical Administrative Assistant. I will be graduating in May of this year and this will be my first degree. I am excited and nervous all in one, starting my new career and life after graduation. It feels good to see the finish line approaching.

Bryant and Stratton Associate of Applied Science Degree program in Medical Administrative Assistant provides the skills to handle front-end administrative duties or medical billing in medical offices. Students also gain a strong foundation in the key skills and practices needed for effcient and effective medical billing. Upon graduation, students will have gained the abilitiy to manage and process healthcare information as well as design communication proceduces according to medical, legal, and ethical standards. Students will be prepared to perform coding, billing, records management, transcription and scheduling tasks, among other administrative duties. in compliance with industry standards.
