My academic journey began with a passion for helping others and a strong interest in the healthcare field. I am currently enrolled in the Medical Billing and Coding program at Bryant & Stratton College, where I am developing essential skills in medical terminology, insurance processing, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), and healthcare compliance. This program is preparing me to become a reliable and detail-oriented healthcare support professional.
Throughout my studies, I have remained focused and committed to success, balancing coursework with personal responsibilities and staying motivated by my long-term career goals. I look forward to graduating and applying my knowledge in a real-world medical setting, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of healthcare services.
I graduated High School at 17 from Harper High School where I received my diploma in 1984, there I had classes in office procedures, typing, and speech.
Personal Goals:
My personal goals include continuing to grow as an individual by staying focused, building confidence, and maintaining a healthy work–life balance. I aim to be a positive role model for my family and remain committed to lifelong learning and self-improvement.
Professional Goals:
Professionally, my goal is to become a certified Medical Billing and Coding Specialist and secure a position in a reputable healthcare facility. I plan to continue expanding my knowledge of healthcare systems, insurance processing, and coding standards. Long-term, I hope to gain enough experience to move into a leadership or training role within the healthcare administrative field, helping new professionals grow just as I did.
I am currently pursuing a career in Medical Billing and Coding with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and contributing to the smooth operation of healthcare services. My goal is to become a reliable support professional in the medical field by ensuring proper documentation, billing, and patient records management. With a passion for helping others behind the scenes, I am dedicated to learning the skills needed to make a positive impact in any healthcare setting.
