My moral philosophy “With hard work and effort, you can achieve anything” stems not from my natural abilities, but from my ability to overcome obstacles and grow from it through a great deal of effort. Through this, I believe nothing can be truly achieved without putting in effort. The thing that led me to choose a career in pharmacy was my curiosity about medicine, my interest in chemistry and my will to help people. I was passionate about learning, and what’s more to sate my hunger for learning then chemistry and medicine. I knew that by pursing a career in pharmacy I would not only learn the many intricacies of chemistry and medicine but be able to help a variety of people with my passion. My vision of pharmacy practice is one that attends to the needs of the people who use the services provided by pharmacists. The pharmacy practice I envision is one that has set standards for procedure, conduct, and quality. My goals are to become a pharmacist, be able to uphold the standard for quality healthcare, and help as many people along the way and at the end. It is important for me to be pharmacist because I don’t know any other professions that would allow me to help people the way a pharmacist can given my abilities and passion. Some of my positive attributes include being diligent, hardworking, punctual, and rational. I think I’m all these attributes because I follow my moral philosophy as my guide.

One of my biggest accomplishments I am proud of is joining my high school cheerleading team in the beginning of my senior year.
Cheerleading is an activity in which members cheer for other teams associated with the school as a form of encouragement. However, cheerleading is considered a sport because cheer teams also participate in competitions with teams from other schools in which each team shows off several different skills in a choreographed routine.
Joining a high school cheerleading team does not seem like a big accomplishment, but to me it is one of my most important accomplishments. All my life I have been a shy person. I have never enjoyed being on a stage in front of people, performing or presenting in front of others, or having my voice heard. By joining the cheerleading team, I stepped far out of my comfort zone. As a member of the team, I had to speak louder than I had ever before in my life and I was placed in the front line for most games and competitions. I was nervous before the start of each event, but at the end I enjoyed every moment of performing and competing. Joining the team was a huge accomplishment because I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone and did not regret it.
What surprised me about my strengths was that they follow my moral philosophy and my passion. My restorative strength comes from my interest in medicine, Analytical developed through my interest in chemistry, Deliberative and Learner brought about by my passion to learn new things, and Relator from my will to help people. I believe that all the strengths found from the Clifton Strengths assessment are accurate and can help me plan for the future. I plan to use my strengths to help me accomplish my goals by doing exactly what I do best. By figuring out what is stopping me from achieving my goals, through analysis, make well informed decisions, learn as much as I can before doing something, and work diligently with friends to achieve my goals.
