My Bio: Kevin Torres
About me

I was born in East Los Angeles and raised in South Gate. Growing up in a low-income community, I seen lots of people die from misused and overdose on medications. Seen many people died, I wanted to help my community by educating people about medications use. One of the deaths was my grandfather. When my grandfather passed away I wanted to help my community by becoming a pharmacist. 

 I’m currently a 2-year pharmacy student at California North state University College of pharmacy. The courses I have taken while in pharmacy student have given various skills that would useful as a future pharmacist.

Furthermore, being a full-time student I work at CVS Pharmacy in Natomas, California.
