My Bio: Raye Ann Chamberlain
My Biography
I grew up in the same home, located in Upstate New York, for my entire childhood. I have 5 siblings, and parents who are still together today. At 19, I met my husband, and we eventually had 2 amazing daughters. He joined the US Army and we had the blessing of living in Western Georgia, then South Korea. Korea was a remarkable place to live and the people were delightful. Soon after we got back to the US, we were stationed in Eastern Georgia. In 1997 he was diagnosed with cancer, and we moved back to Upstate New York. When the girls were 1 and 8, my husband died. I began working in Real Estate, and I decided to home school my kids. My oldest was entering high school, and my youngest was labeled as having learning disabilities. Both of them were thriving in the home school community and they successfully graduated high school before moving onto college. Currently, they both have Bachelor's Degrees, and I am very proud of them. My path took a turn and I decided to go back to school for a degree in Paralegal Studies. While in school, I began working as a Legal Assistant at two law firms. Currently, I am in my final semester of school, and I have maintained an overall GPA of 98% and presence on the Dean's List the entire time. I am currently married with 2 bonus kids, a granddaughter, and 3 grand-kids on the way!
