My Bio: Tracy L Lewis
Tracy Lewis has spent many years using her personal and career experiences assisting Pharmacists, Physicians, and Patients in the goal of patient centered excellence in healthcare. As a young girl she realized her passion for working with others in need of care. While most of her experience is clinical, she has also excelled in understanding the administrative end of healthcare with a focus on Billing and Coding.
Having experience in clinical care gives her an advantage in understanding how to interpret Physician notes and Laboratory assessments along with the importance of HIPAA compliance and clinical documentation integrity.
She received her education at Bryant and Stratton College with an Associates in Applied Science in Medical Assisting with a second AAS in Medical Billing, Coding and Reimbursement. She is an avid amateur researcher of medical science and queries of coding proficiency.
Tracy resides with her wife, a Physician Assistant in Radiation Oncology and two very loved cats in Pittsford, NY.
