I am a recent graduate with an Associate Degree in Human Services, driven by a strong passion for advocating for vulnerable populations. My primary motivation is to work in the Child Protective Services division, where I can help ensure the safety and well-being of children. My final portfolio project focused on educating others about schizophrenia. It included definitions and symptoms, major conceptual and theoretical approaches, and classifications of the illness. Additionally, I explored the impact of schizophrenia on public policy and highlighted changes that could lead to improvements. I also discussed recommended medications and treatment options, the effects of the illness on people associated with those affected, and how schizophrenia impacts the workplace.
