Open a mental health clinic that addresses the needs of my community. (Long-Term)
In 2015, my community, Springfield, was voted one of the unhappiest cities in the U.S., and that stuck with me. I want to serve my community and address their mental health needs, especially with the addition of the Haitian immigrants.

Professional Bio
Halley McClain is a dedicated student pharmacist with a passion for serving her community through innovative and compassionate pharmacy care. Currently pursuing her Doctorate of Pharmacy at Cedarville University, Halley combines academic excellence with hands-on experience as a pharmacy intern at Carson’s Independent Pharmacy and SUN Behavioral Health. She actively contributes to advancing the pharmacy profession through research, leadership, and mentorship, holding positions such as President of Cedarville SNPhA and Vice President of Cedarville Rho Chi.

With a heart for volunteering and a commitment to improving lives, Halley has managed disaster recovery efforts as a Case Manager with the United Methodist Committee of Relief and collaborated with healthcare teams to enhance medication safety and patient outcomes. Her research includes exploring pharmacogenomic services in pediatric behavioral health and addressing outcomes with natural supplements.

Fueled by her Christian faith, Halley aspires to make a lasting impact in her hometown of Springfield, OH, by establishing a holistic mental health and pharmacy clinic to support underserved populations. Her mission is to reflect hope and joy through her work, empowering individuals to lead healthier lives with dignity and compassion.
