In addition to my professional experience, I hold an Associates of Applied Science in Medical Assisting from Bryant & Stratton College. This educational background has equipped me with a solid foundation in medical terminology and providing expert patient care which enhances my ability to contribute effectively to any team. When I'm not working, you can find me indulging in my hobbies, such as exercising, yoga, and spending time with family. These activities allow me to recharge and bring a fresh perspective to my work.
From the very beginning, I was drawn to the field of healthcare. The idea of making a difference in people's lives and being a part of their journey to better health always fascinated me. When I discovered the Medical Assisting program at Bryant & Stratton, I knew it was the perfect fit for me.
Throughout my time at the college, I was fortunate enough to learn from some amazing professors who not only had extensive knowledge and experience in the field but also knew how to make the learning process enjoyable. They created a relaxed and supportive environment that allowed us students to thrive and grow.
The curriculum was well-rounded, covering a wide range of topics such as anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology, clinical procedures, administrative tasks and Career Development. We had hands-on training in labs and clinical settings, which gave us valuable practical experience. It was amazing to see how the classroom knowledge seamlessly translated into real-world scenarios.
One of the highlights of my time at Bryant & Stratton was the opportunity to participate in internships. This allowed me to work side by side with experienced medical professionals, putting my skills to the test in a real medical setting. It was a fantastic chance to apply what I had learned and gain confidence in my abilities.
The support I received from the college was exceptional. The career services department provided guidance and resources to help me with job placement. They offered resume workshops, mock interviews, and networking events, which greatly helped in preparing me for the job market.
I am proud to be a part of the Bryant & Stratton College family and grateful for the incredible education I received. It's been quite the journey, but an incredibly rewarding one, and I can't wait to see where my career in the medical field takes me next.
Professionally, my goal is to excel in the field of nursing and continuously enhance my skills and knowledge. I aspire to become a competent and compassionate nurse, delivering high-quality patient care. I aim to contribute to the advancement of healthcare by staying updated with the latest medical practices and technologies.
Additionally, I envision myself being a team player, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. I want to create a nurturing and comforting environment for both patients and their families, fostering trust and providing emotional support throughout their healthcare journey.
Ultimately, my goal is to become a nurse and positively impact the lives of individuals and communities, promoting health and well-being. I am excited to embark on this journey and work towards realizing my dreams of becoming a nurse.
