By doing this project I came to the conclusion of the correct code to use in each patient report. This made me use my knowledge of medical terminology, the structure and organization of the body systems, and common pharmacological treatments.

Hi, My name is Caridad Palacios. You can call me Cari. I have been working in the medical field for over 27 years. I have worked in hospitals and clinics. Privately owned and public government hospitals. Worked in all the different departments that the medical field offers. I am now on my journey in receiving my second associate degree in medical reimbursement and coding. My first associate is in allied Health. I am looking forward in looking into getting into a new career path in medical coding. I am on the road to taking my CCS-P exam in April.
