Additional points of emphasis of the Human and Social Services associate degree program include the diversity of influences that affect clients and ensuring that the proper ethical responsibilities are followed in providing treatment. Students take courses that draw on the expertise required in psychology careers and common practices in the counseling field. Some of the positions students will be prepared to fill crisis intervention, case management, and social and human services assistant.
