Hi! My name is Jeffrey and I'm from Queens, New York. I am a PharmD/MBA dual degree student. I'm currently an intern at Rite Aid Pharmacy. The aspect that I enjoy the most about my job is patient counseling and being able to contribute to the patient care process.

I pursued the MBA degree because I am also interested in business aspect of healthcare. The reimbursement model in healthcare and in pharmacy is very complex, unnecessarily so. With the MBA degree, I feel like I am able to get a better understanding of the system and be able to navigate it as a potential future pharmacy manager or pharmacy director of a health system.
