Biography of Barbara Kaylor
My name is Barbara Kaylor, I am a wife, mother of five adult children, and twelve grandchildren. I help my mom with my 80 year old stepdad that has early onset Alzheimer’s, some days are better than others. I am a fur-mommy to two spoiled pit bull/coon hound/bulldog mutts, and I am at the beckon call to four cats. I love gardening, spending time with family, and rescuing stray and dumped animals. I volunteer with Castaways Pet Rescue, and I have obtained my Associates Degree at Bryant Stratton College in Medical Reimbursement and Coding.

Castaways Pet Rescue
I have volunteered for the last three years and I am still volunteering fostering four cats at my home. I hope that I can get them to trust humans and get them adopted to a new home. They have all been fixed, vaccinated, loved and medical attention where it is needed. Most of the cats we take in have been born outside or dumped by an irresponsible owner.

Hospice Savannah Children's Grief Camp
For several years I have volunteered at the children's Grief camp for children of age 6 to 18 years of age. Although there is a lot of crying and talking, there is also healing and the tools to try to cope with the loss of a loved one.
