Motivation
The motivation to become a case worker for the foster care system comes from my aim to create a significant impact in the lives of the most vulnerable children and families. Personally, I will be able to develop deep empathy and compassion, along with building resilience for the emotional demands associated with this profession. As such, my main professional pursuits concern advocating the best interests of and rights of foster children, maintaining effective cooperation with families and other professionals involved, keeping oneself organized, and recording progress towards a desired outcome. Each of the mentioned elements cannot be accomplished without further education, networking, active mentorship, and self-enhancement impelled by one's desire to provide meaningful contribution into the life of a child.
