'Im African American, born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. I was born a female, and I still recognize my as a female. I was born July 14th, 1994, and I'm single. I was born with Spina Bifida that left me partial paralyzed, but I still live life to the fullest. My thoughts on Culture is that Culture teaches us about lifestyle , traditions, customs, and culture is a reflection in and from our history. Also, culture is apart of our legacy and from the way we express our thoughts, and imagination.
African American Educator that Create respectful, reciprocal relationships with children's families and communities to foster involvement and support children's development and learning.

Becoming a teacher in the Early Childhood Program is an awesome opportunity to nurture and encourage children to learn in the best of their abilities through their natural and special interests. As a teacher, it's my job to be a role-model, and to help shape the student's self-esteem, and confidence.
One of the most important things about being a teacher is adapting to my student's needs by being able to provide visuals, moving quickly to another area of the class to teach, switching lessons around, taking notes, giving explanation in small and distinct steps, providing written as well as oral directions, having the students repeat the directions, asking questions that require short items, and to motivate my students.
