Essential Question Collapse 1.) Why is professional communication essential when working in a medical office? I think professional communication is essential, because it shows that you are professional and not just there for a paycheck; also shows you have manners and are courtieous to you patient's that walk through your front door's of the medical office. You want your office to stand out, and show you went above and beyond in a professional manner I would think. 2.) What skills should one develop in order to work in a medical office setting? Well, There are plenty of skill's you would need to obtain. Such as, A professional ability to answer phones, also you would need to know how they schedule patient's; understanding microsoft word for reports and sharing project's. Also, I think you would need to understand HIPPA so you do not put your medical office at liability for a fine or to be shut down, and yourself jail time. I think all these skill's have a setting in a medical office. Essential Question: What would have happened in the medical field If HIPPA never came about? I think my question may have crossed other's minds and they just never asked it. I think it holds potential. Would we have just known everyone's information, or would we have still done medical visit's in private. Would you have known everything about your fellow person in the waiting room with you business. WIN_20211122_18_31_08_Pro
