I have always loved the fact that the medicine could help a person became healthy and returns back to his health and that’s why I chose the medical field as my choice for my job. I think one of the difficulties in choosing what you want is the fact that it is going to relate you for the rest of your life. I was so determined for what I want and so many people doubted my passion to the medical field, but I did not listen to them. I chose it and that was a proof for them for not believing me.
I liked it more when I started studying it and I usually do not be so passionate about a lot of things in my life and that why many people around me did not think that I meant when I said I want to be a part in the medical field. So that was for the first time in my life I became so sure and thank god he made me get what I want, and I don’t think that is an opportunity for everyone in this world to get what they want when they are so passionate about it.
I think pharmacy one the mysterious major in the medical field and that is because nobody talks about it in the social media. I think medicine and dental majors are more familiar than pharmacy and that does not affect my opinion it is a mysterious major not only because of social media part, but also the fact that everyone thinks a pharmacist is only for selling drug not making them, and I want to make a whole campaign for that. And I feel like I want to be a person which clarify the importance of pharmacy in the medical filed.
Nobody understands the importance of the pharmacist in the medical field and they think only the doctor is the most important one . The doctor writes the prescription but does not make the drug that is written in the paper. You do not make the drug when you write on a paper, you make a drug when you are a pharmacist. The doctor helps the patient to be better, but he cannot help him if the drug does not exist.
I learned so many helpful things this semester and mostly about drug and dosage forms and which got me the feeling of the pharmacist and made me want more making my own drug someday inshallah. I hope that I find a place where I can do my own drugs. Also, this semester made me change my thoughts of pharmacy in so many ways which is a good thing in the future.
I would love to see more what else in this course I would get benefit of it and I’m pretty sure it will help in my career. I’m so excited for the next courses of the curriculum
