Interests: Moriah Rhodes
My Interest in the Criminal Justice Profession

My interest in the Criminal Justice Profession is to become a Probation Officer. I have always had a passion for helping and protecting individuals that cannot help themselves. My passion goes beyond the educational background. I hope to inspire other individuals to get back on the right path and show them they can achieve any goal with the help from any individual even if a stranger. I hope to lead others back on the right path other than the way of crime. I hope to show them that at least someone cares for them even if it is someone they wouldn't expect. With our Criminal Justice field many officer's are seen as not caring people that have no interest in helping people; only hurting people. I hope to change that view and if i can help change one person life that means more to me than any money can buy.

My Bio: Moriah Rhodes
Biography

My name is Moriah Danielle Rhodes. I grew up in a small town in North Carolina called Gastonia. I have had a passion for Criminal Justice since I was ten years old. I have always had a interest in learning why people commit crime and learning ways on how to help them. My goal is to become a Probation Officer for the State of North Carolina. I grew up in a low-income based family where crime was a way to get what you needed. Many criminals can relate to that however, never stop doing crime because, they feel nobody care enough to help or can relate to them. I hope to be that person to show that how you were raised can be motivation to do better and want better for yourself.

I love the idea of traveling to a new place and finding a new rock and finding where it came from. I didn't discover this till I went to the lighthouse in Augusta Maine and a family member took me to the beach and I find all these amazing rocks and couldn't wait to find more.
