My Bio: Shelby Lane-Garcia Roe
My name is Shelby Roe, I am 30 years old and I am currently enrolled in Bryant & Stratton College pursuing my Associates Degree in Health and Human Services. Prior to deciding to take a new journey and changing up my career goals. I worked in the health care industry since I graduated high school. I worked in private care and took care of people in there homes. I then pursued my Certified Nursing Assistant License,  I achieved this goal in 2016 and started working at a Nursing Home close to home. I continued this journey and worked at different Nursing Homes and Hospitals as I moved around for the next few tears. I worked for Carson Tahoe Medical Center on the Medical Oncology unit for 2 years. I started noticing how important and the need for Case Managers throughout the hospital, and that is when I decided that's what I wanted to do.

Educational Background: Shelby Lane-Garcia Roe
I am enrolled at Bryant and Stratton to pursue my Associates Degree in Health and Human Services. Thus far I have maintained straight A's and have made the Deans list every semester. I started June of 2023, and I will have completed all my courses and will graduate March of 2025.

Goals (Personal & Professional): Shelby Lane-Garcia Roe
My professional goals, one will be to successfully complete all my courses and graduate with my Associates Degree in Health and Human Services. 
Second will be to find a job or intern ship to start getting me ready to become a social worker.
Once I am in a steady position to help get me started, I will be looking into going back to school for my Bachelors degree so I can continue my journey and become a Case Manager. 
My end goal is to become a Case Manager and help within the Foster Care community.
