My name is Heather Elliott, I am 30 years old and am a mother of two rambunctious kids, which are 8 and 11. I am also married to my high school sweetheart who keeps me on my toes and that shares a passion for motorcycles almost as much as I do. I am currently working in the medical field and have been for close to 10 years now. I recently went through a massive reconstructive hip surgery due to an accident with a patient. I have decided during my time being laid up and healing, I would take a chance and go back to school and pursue my Associates degree as a paralegal. I thought it was time for a change in careers for me, one that will not involve too much strain on my body anymore. I would be extremely interested in Criminal Law, and I have hopes for that being the type of law that I would get to work in
I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming with my grandparents who had raised me my most my life. I rodeoed, played the violin, had a passion for art, and started at a young age learning the working responsibilities on the ranch. As I got older, I fell into different types of clicks of friends, some of which were good and some bad. Once I had become a teen, I went through a wreck and had to stop playing the violin, which I then ended my rodeoing too. I then started to fall in with a crowd that had a more negative impact on my well-being, which I then ended up dropping out of high school. After a couple years later, I then got my G.E.D. and tried to change my life around for the best. Got my C.N.A. license a little later after having my daughter at the young age of 19 and have been doing that since.
Graduated through the S.C.O.P.E. Program
Completing on getting my Associates in Paralegal studies in October.
I am aslo wanting to go back to school after graduating for my Associates in Criminal Justice.
In the meantime hopefully get more relevant job experience, for example I am starting to assist with the interviewing process at the facility I am currently employed at right now.
Continue applying and turning in my resume with jobs that pertain to my degree.
