CompTIA Simulations I have completed various CompTIA simulations that provided hands-on experience in key areas of IT. These simulations covered essential topics such as network security, hardware troubleshooting, and operating system management. The CompTIA simulations helped me develop practical skills and a deeper understanding of IT concepts, preparing me for real-world scenarios and certification exams.
TestOut Lab Simulations The TestOut Lab simulations offered an immersive learning experience, allowing me to practice and apply my knowledge in a virtual environment. These labs included simulations for networking, cybersecurity, and system administration. Through TestOut Lab, I gained valuable experience in configuring and managing network devices, securing systems, and troubleshooting technical issues. The interactive nature of these simulations enhanced my problem-solving abilities and technical proficiency.

This project involved researching smart grid technology and presenting my findings. I used various resources to gather information, evaluated the credibility of sources, and communicated my results in a clear and concise manner. This project improved my research skills and my ability to present information visually, in writing, and orally. These skills are vital for making informed decisions and effectively communicating complex information. For example, I created a detailed report and a visual presentation to explain the benefits and challenges of smart grids.

- Practical experience with installation and configuration
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Research and documentation skills
- Presentation and communication skills

This project required me to use IT skills while adhering to logical, legal, and ethical guidelines. I designed and implemented a network routing plan that complied with industry standards and legal requirements. This experience highlighted the importance of making ethical decisions and following legal protocols in the tech industry. It also sharpened my problem-solving abilities, which are essential for navigating complex network environments. For instance, I had to troubleshoot routing issues while ensuring that all actions were compliant with legal standards.

In this presentation, I provided a comprehensive guide on the process of setting up subnets within a corporate network. The key points covered include:
-
- Explanation of what subnets are and their importance in network management.
- Overview of IP addressing and subnet masks.
- How to calculate subnets and determine the number of hosts per subnet.
- Steps to create an effective subnetting plan tailored to a company's needs.
- Practical steps for configuring subnets on network devices.
- A real-world example of a company that I successfully implemented subnetting.
