Hello! My name is Katherine Stein and I am currently a fourth-year student at Campbell University pursuing my doctorate in pharmacy. I have a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in business administration and a certificate in professional and public writing. I have held multiple leadership positions at Campbell over the last four years and have been involved in a variety of organizations. Upon graduation, I would like to pursue a career in either managed care or medical communications. I have a passion for giving back to my community, with a specific love for our veteran and elderly populations.

My current professional goals are to graduate with my doctorate in pharmacy and pursue a career in medical communications or managed care. I have a passion for writing, graphic design, and formulary management and enjoy strategic planning and implementation. I'm hoping my rotation experience coupled with networking opportunities will help me decide which career path is best for me. I would love to stay involved with my fraternity, Kappa Psi, and plan to be an active member of AMCP as well.
One of my main personal goals is to make time for my physical and mental well-being. My current schedule doesn't leave much time for cooking, working out, or keeping a consistent sleep schedule but as I get older, I'm learning how important my health and well-being are to my career and performance at work. Because of this, one of my goals is to prioritize taking care of myself. My aim is to cook healthier meals, eat more fruits and vegetables, maintain a better sleep schedule, and allow myself time to go to the gym during the week, even if it means scheduling the time into my planner.
Another goal of mine is to become a foster mom for dogs. I have participated in multiple 5ks with Freedom Ride Rescue, helping raise funds and awareness for their foster and adoption efforts. I have a deep desire to get more involved with their organization, fostering dogs and attending events to help them find "fur-ever homes".
